I have to say it is the best site I have come across. I feel you tell the honest truth when it comes to marriage between a Russian lady and a western gentleman. I know a few sites that don't tell the whole truth. some of the claims they made are really out there. For example 1 site has a add on there that reads as follows. YOU'RE 60, SHE'S 20, IS THAT A PROBLEM, NOT TO HER IT WON'T BE. I think that men at that age should really look long and hard into why they think an age difference of 30-40 years would work. It's so helpful to read an honest and objective opinion. Clearly you have thought about these relationships a lot -- after all you live in one yourself -- and I'm impressed with the clarity of your insight and by the way you very honestly explain all the myths, and do not try to reduce your opinions to simple or easy explanations. DINING / ENTERTAINMENT AREAS
Four restaurants and bars, each In Its own distinct setting, satisfy all tastes- Perched on the hotel's eighth floor rooftop, the Landskrona is the top dining place in the city. Its acclaimed menu features regional Italian specialties.
The Imperial Restaurant is known for its Sunday Jazz Brunches with live music and free-flowing champagne. The Admiralty serves a generous menu, complete with folk song and dance performances. For a perfect end to a great day in the city, guests can visit the cozy Beerstube and sample lager from around the world or sip cognac at the intimate Lobby Bar.
IMPERIAL RESTAURANT (Capacity 154 pax)
The first floor Imperial Restaurant's expansive windows provide a unique view of Nevsky Prospect and offers superb continental and new Russian cuisine for memorable gourmet dining with evening entertainment. This is the restaurant where buffet breakfast is served for guests from 7 till 10.30am. During lunch time (12pm - 5pm) the restaurant offers a la carte menus only. Buffet dinner is served from 7 till 11pm.
ADMIRALTY (Capacity 110 pax)
Atmospheric first floor restaurant decorated in a maritime theme with detailed vintage ship models and nautical accessories from St. Petersburg Naval Museum. Recently the restaurant was turned into a Russian Theme Gourmet restaurant with Russian-Georgian menus (5 PM-11 PM). A separate banquet room with round table is available for private dinners up to 12 pax. During lunch time the restaurant is closed and may be opened only for groups.
LANDSKRONA RESTAURANT (Capacity 104 pax)
A Mediterranean rooftop restaurant with an open-air terrace offering a panoramic view of St. Petersburg.
VIENNA CAFE
The ground floor Vienna Cafe offers a selection of light snacks and specialties including Viennese pastries, desserts and fine coffees in a romantic atmosphere.
BEERSTUBE Capacity 70 pax
A cozy Austrian-German restaurant on the ground floor. Excellent also for informal meals for groups.
